Phono Ghosts
Phono Ghosts (alias of producer Neil Scrivin, who also records as Meatbingo) creates new music from old cassette tapes. His sound has been described as "abstract electronica" and "cut and pasted IDiscoM and slowed down digi-funk." He released his debut (Chrome Position) on Manchester's Skam Records in 2013. Its follow-up 'Solar Dream Reel' came out on his own Fonolith label in 2016, and was Bleep.com's Album of the Week. His latest release is 2019's 'Warm Pad, Sharp Stab'.
